How to create a folder on desktop

Right click on any free space on the desktop
from the list go to new then select folder

An empty folder will appear on the desktop and you will be able to give it the name of your choice.
To open the folder double click on it and you will be able to view the items in it

 How to delete the folder

 Now that you have learnt how to create  a folder lets learn how to delete it in case you don't want it anymore.To delete a folder;

 Right click on the folder you want to delete 

then from the list click on delete and the folder will be deleted 

ALTERNATIVELY,

 You can just click on the folder and then press on CTRL + D shortcut keys

How to rename a folder

 Know lets learn how to rename a folder;

 To rename the folder you need to right click on  it 

then from the drop down list click on rename

you will be able to delete the previous name and enter the new on

How to undo deletion of a folder

you might sometimes find that the folder you deleted had some documents you need to use. Do not panic for here is a way on how to recover deleted folder.

1.Right click on any free space on the desktop ( when i say desktop i mean the main screen )from the list click on undo delete

OR click on CTRL + Z

Note: this method is only applicable to recover the last deleted folder

2. Go to your recycle bin ( recycle bin is where all the deleted items are stored)

from the recycle bin you are able to recover all the items deleted and it does not matter when they were deleted.
